Description: Consists of the development of 2 waterfront residential towers
- 43 and 53 storey high-rise
- Tallest waterfront residential building in the lower Vancouver mainland
Shoring and construction activities occur in close proximity to railway and the Fraser River
work carried out
Construction activities are monitored to ensure close proximity of the Fraser River does not affect shoring and excavation.
Including instrumentation:
- 7 inclinometers, an automatic total station, and load cells
Municon developed rail monitoring plan adjacent to the site boundaries, consisting of over 100 prisms installed along the rail tracks
How was data delivered?
On-site instrumentation will be presented to BOSA in near real-time. Data is processed and analyzed, and presented digitally on the website, made available to the construction and design team. Password protected user access accounts will be provided to view all data from proposed instrumentation used.
